The Catenian Association

An international brotherhood of Catholic business and professional men who meet together monthly, often with their wives and families,  for the purpose of promoting fellowship and mutual support. Founded in Manchester in 1908, it now has a membership of 10,500 across the UK and seven other countries across the world. For further information,  available by request from the secretary of the Jersey cIrcle.

Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD)

This is the official international development and relief agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales. It is a member of the worldwide Caritas Internationalis federation. Together with local partner organisations in more than 50 countries, CAFOD works to build a better world for people living in poverty. In emergency situations, CAFOD provides immediate relief. It also stays on to help people rebuild their lives. CAFOD raises awareness of justice issues and encourages people to fundraise and campaign. All the churches in the Jersey Parish are involved in supporting CAFOS.

Bamenda Mission Support

The Catholic Church in Jersey supports the Archdiocese of Bamenda in Cameroon, West Africa. In 1974 the Diocese of Portsmouth was twinned with the then Diocese of Bamenda. At present Portsmouth has no priest working in Bamenda, but some priests from that diocese are now working in the Portsmouth diocese. Father James McAuley is on the diocesan Bamenda committee and is our local contact. Catholic Women's League

This national organisation was founded to promote religious education and social welfare to Catholic women and to represent Catholic women’s interests on national and international bodies.
