If you are considering volunteering some of your time to help and especially if you are fit and able to assist with the furniture items on a Saturday, then please leave a message or call in to see our team.

Other ways you can help those in need:

Monetary donations:  only to the wall collection boxes please as marked in churches.

Food Donations:in-date non-perishable everyday food stuffs, tins, cereals, porridge oats, pickles, etc may be left in the boxes to the back of any catholic church to supplement our food bank. Christmas pudding/cake will make a real treat for a family.

Toiletry Donations: Ladies toiletries, disposable razors, shaving gel/foam, deodorant, Liquid/bar soaps, bubble bath, toothpaste and toothbrushes (adults and childrens) also gratefully received as everyone deserves to feel better.

For larger items such as play kitchen/tool benches, doll houses, toy prams, bikes, scooters etc please first leave a message on the SVP office number so we can check with you before bringing in as space is limited. Again good condition and complete please.

Furniture donations: Please leave your contact details on the SVP office answerphone with a description of the item(s) you have and we shall arrange a collection date with you. Only reasonably good condition and clean furniture items can be acccepted for re-use such as:

  • bedsteads
  • bed mattresses
  • cots
  • baby high chairs
