Penance & Anointing of the Sick

Jesus Christ is the healer of our soul and body. As Catholics we believe that the new life given us at Baptism can be weakened and even lost because of our sins. Therefore, to restore us to a state of grace Jesus, willed that his Church should continue his work of healing and salvation in two sacraments, often called the ‘Sacraments of Healing.’

The Sacrament of Penance is provided at regular times in several of our churches. Please click here to check times.

The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is available on request, for those in danger of death through illness or age. To arrange this please contact the Parish Office or speak to one of the parish clergy.
