Confirmation

Every year we provide a Programme of preparation for the teenagers of our parish who are old enough to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. The new Programme will start in the new year and will involve regular sessions for the teenagers. It culminates with the teenagers being confirmed at a Mass celebrated by the Bishop.

Our programme of preparation is open to teenagers in years 9 to year 12 already baptised Catholic who belong to our island parish by living within its boundaries.

2027 - Registration dates will be advertised through your local church. At present, we do not have a timeframe for registration.

The key requirement is that candidates should already be attending Mass on a regular basis to obtain up to date information.

📌 Registration Requirements:

✔️ Complete ONLINE Registration Form (must be submitted during registration dates)
✔️ Copy of Baptism Certificate (to be provided at the time of registration)
✔️ Recent Passport Photo (taken within the last 6 months and attached to application)
✔️ Registration Fee: £50 (This fee covers administrative costs, books, and flowers for the day.)
✔️ Child must be starting Year 9 to Year 12 only
