Marriage

Our churches have witnessed countless couples standing before God to enter into the Sacrament of Matrimony. We are delighted to welcome any couple, who accept the Catholic Church’s teaching on marriage, who wish to marry here and are free to do so.

Please note we do not conduct weddings on Sundays, in the week leading up to Easter nor between Christmas and New Year.

If you live outside our parish but have chosen to marry here you must complete your preparation for marriage with your local Catholic parish priest having first booked your wedding here with us. 

If you live in our parish but seek to marry in a Catholic church elsewhere, please contact any one of our parish offices. They will arrange for you to meet with one of the parish clergy, who will assist you with an appropriate preparation.

AT LEAST TWELVE MONTHS NOTICE is ordinarily required for us to assist a couple with their intention to marry in one of our churches or elsewhere.
