Welcome to our Marriage Preparation Programme

Ideally, we do this with you in person but if time is a factor we want give you the opportunity to complete this online.

The Church always wants to thank couples who choose Catholic marriage as we value your choice and are delighted to be alongside you at this happy time as you prepare for married life. After each session we will ask you to complete a short survey. Please complete one each and send to oasis@catholicchurch.org.je PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR ACTIVITIES They are personal to you both as a couple

What is this programme aiming to do?

This programme is usually facilitated by married couples who share their experiences and help you to look at the life you will be spending together. Many couples come reluctantly to the sessions as they have been together a long time. We ask you to keep an open mind and heart as we as facilitator’s often find that leading this programme actually helps us as married couples. It’s time out just for you to focus on each other and reflect on all aspects of life together. The programme consists of some narrative to read together, videos to share and activities which remain personal between you two only. We ask that you engage with each part and allow us to lead you into discussion and reflection to benefit your relationship

What do you need to do?

1. There are three sessions to complete and we suggest you leave time between each one for contemplation and discussion.

2. Once all three sessions are done we will ask you to complete a short survey.

3. Please also email us your names as you would like them to appear on your certificate.

4. Finally, we ask for couples to make a donation, if possible, towards the Marriage Preparation Programme.
